The Aston is a traditional knole sofa, that includes the original styling of drop arms, carved wooden finials and handmade tie backs. Designed to keep a draft out when placed in front of a fire, these are traditional aspects of a knole sofa. On the other hand, lowering the arms, helped to keep cooler. 

The Aston knole sofa is traditionally handmade, starting with a coil sprung seat unit and front edge, above a solid beech frame. Secondly, the jute and hessian are attached to the frame to give support for the, sewn by hand, spring coils. Filled with 100% duck feather cushioning to only further enhance comfort and traditional style.

Upholstered by hand in the Jim Dickens, Ottoman range, to keep a traditional and timeless look.
