The artist Dai Tieming, also known as Haibo, was born in 1968 in Xiangtan City in the Chinese Province of Hunan. He studied at the Academy Of Art in Hunan and in 1998 had his first major exhibition in Changsha City.
Between 2004 and 2008 his work was exhibited in major cities throughout China and surrounding countries.
As well as studies of traditional boats and fishing craft on Chinese rivers, Tieming has been influenced by the French impressionists and has done a number of Parisien street scenes, mostly in the Belce Epoque era.
More recently, he has been developing his skills on Winter landscape scenes, participating in a special Winter ice scene exhibition in his home city of Xiangtan.
