A period style giltwood mirror with oval mirror plate and an entirely hand carved and gilded mahogany frame. The oval frame has gadrooned edging with acanthus leaves above supporting a baket of flowers, with bell flowers descending to the sides. The frame has been oil gilded in dutch metal with slight distresing to expose a red base layer beneath.
