A Regency style marquetry inlaid butterfly work table. The top is inlaid with rosewood, burl and amboyn and has two hinged 'wing' panels which open to reveal the painted Spencer crest. On a ring and baluster turned column with delicate down swept tapering legs and peg feet. From a collection inspired by furniture within Althorp House, endorsed by Earl Spencer.
