About this Piece
A George III style oval mirror in the manner of John Linnell. The mahogany frame has been hand carved in mahogany after an original design, circa 1775, but finished in a bespoke water gilded and painted finish using 23¾ carat gold leaf and the painted areas waxed to add depth and tone.
