A magnificent Anglian finish mahogany and marquetry bombe commode veneered in chestnut burl throughout, featuring fine sycamore scrolling vine marquetry with mother of pearl inlaid leaves and flowers.

Overlaid with finely cast, rubbed nickel-brass mounts and handles, and stands on bold cabriole supports with acanthus cast mounts. It is inspired by a late 18th-century Neapolitan Italian original.
