The Alexander giltwood chair in Kings Velvet - Parchment by GP&J Baker is an exclusive statement chair that is always lovingly made by hand in our workshops. 

Starting with a mahogany frame of sweeping scroll arms and floral carving to the leg blocks, supported by straight carved legs. The alexander is then oil gilded with Dutch metal, giving the piece a truly elegant finish.

Secondly, upholstered by hand in a traditional manner using the finest materials available. Including elastic webbing on the seat and back and finished with a feather loose seat cushion. Upholstered in the beautiful Kings Velvet by GP&J Baker, in the shade parchment, a beautifully, elegant rich velvet. 

We take pride in building and designing pieces like the Alexander in our workshops for over 50 years. Continuing to reinforce our commitment to the artistry and craftsmanship of traditional English upholstery.
