The Aston is a traditional knole sofa, that includes the original styling of drop arms, carved wooden finials and handmade tie backs. Designed to keep a draft out when placed in front of a fire, these are traditional aspects of a knole sofa. On the other hand, lowering the arms, helped to keep cooler. 

The Aston knole sofa is traditionally handmade, starting with a coil sprung seat unit and front edge, above a solid beech frame. Secondly, the jute and hessian are attached to the frame to give support for the, sewn by hand, spring coils. Filled with feather cushioning to only further enhance comfort and traditional style.

Upholstered by hand in the Jim Dickens, Ottoman range, to keep a traditional and timeless look.
