This Beautiful George III Inspired Hepplewhite Style Water Gilded Mirror was hand carved in a solid mahogany frame then water gilded at our Devon workshops in 23¾ carat gold leaf.  It also includes detailing hand painted in a period colour.

This traditional style mirror is a true culmination of highly skilled, specialist artisans worldwide.

The Hepplewhite inspired design has pierced cresting with wheat and flower filled shells hung with leafy festoons intersposed with flower heads. Inner beaded moulds were applied to the glass above a ribbon-tied fan and wheat apron.

Hepplewhite Furniture is known for its delicate features, it is especially light in comparison to earlier Queen Anne and Chippendale Styles.
