An ebonised and parcel-gilt open bookcase with burr oak veneered top, sides and breakfront plinth.  The frieze is centred by an Egytian winged tablet bearing a globe and cobra motif on a fluted gilt ground.  The ebonised open interior with adjustable shelf is flanked by tapering Egyptian term figures, terminating in paw feet.  Inspired by an original Regency piece in our archives.
