A fine Morado veneered writing table, the rectangular top with a brass three quarter gallery above two frieze drawers each centered by gilt framed lozenges with chestnut burl veneered centres, the square tapering legs with floral rosette capitals and carved and gilt feet. Inspired by a George III writing table in the South Drawing room made for George John, 2nd Earl Spencer.
