This Water Gilded Chippendale Style Landscape Mirror is a timeless design.  The mirror frame is entirely hand carved in mahogany and gilded using 23.5 carot gold leaf.  This particular model has been gilded in our own UK workshops with autumnal colours highlighted in the Leaves for extra character.

The original was in the family archives originating from Biggs of Maidenhead, the antique specialists, who were ran by our family.

Many of the designs which Brights produce are influenced by this collection of detailed drawings and photographs.

Thomas Chippendale (17-18-1799) was a cabinet maker in London, designing furniture in the mid Georgian, English Rococo and Neoclassical styles.
