The English Cabinet Maker’s Drawing Book is a homage to the innovative designs and masterful finishes of the great furniture designers, artisans and craftsmen of the 18th and 19th centuries. The designer, Stephen Church, a notable and classically trained cabinetmaker in his own right, draws on classic British furniture and adds his own signature style. No detail is insignificant. From hand selected woods and veneers, exceptional finely cast hardware and beautifully cut dovetails, these truly are a connoisseur’s homage to classic British style. Every process and every detail, from a carved chair leg to a table finish or inlay, is executed by hand. Our craftsmen employ time-honoured techniques to craft truly beautiful furniture. All surfaces are prepared, sanded and finished, even those areas that are not always visible. This includes the undersides, the backs and the inside of the drawer boxes among others.
